Welcome to Furlong Park School for Deaf Children, a vibrant and inclusive learning community where every child is valued and supported. We are proud to offer a high-quality bilingual education in Auslan and English, as well as a rich and diverse curriculum that caters to the individual needs and interests of our students.

At Furlong Park, we believe that deaf children can achieve anything they set their minds to, with the right guidance, encouragement and opportunities. Our dedicated and experienced staff work closely with families and external agencies to provide the best possible educational outcomes and wellbeing for our students. We also foster a strong sense of belonging and identity among our students, who enjoy learning from each other and celebrating their deaf culture.

We are also excited to announce that we have recently had a $10 million upgrade to our building facilities, thanks to the generous support of the Victorian Government. This has enabled us to create more spacious and modern classrooms,  a multipurpose hall, a sensory garden and a playground. These new facilities enhance our learning environment and provide more opportunities for our students to engage in creative and physical activities. The project is due to complete mid 2024.

We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our school, our programs and our achievements. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see what’s happening in our school community. If you’re a parent or carer who is looking at Furlong Park as a potential school for your child, please contact the school office and book a tour with me. I would love to show you around our facilities, introduce you to our staff and students, and answer any questions you may have.

Furlong Park School for Deaf Children is more than just a school. It is a place where deaf children can grow, thrive and shine. We look forward to welcoming you to our school family.
